SUMMARY:Clonakilty Whiskey Tasting
DESCRIPTION:FROM CORK TO CASK…\n\n\nDiscover a taste of the Atlantic. \nJoin us for an evening exploring the whiskies of Clonakilty Distillery\, hosted by Global Brand Ambassador Paddy Gilley. \nBased on Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coast in County Cork\, Clonakilty does things a little differently. Barley is grown on the family farm and locally in Cork\, fermentation is extended to develop more flavour\, and the spirit is triple distilled before being matured in their warehouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean\, where the coastal conditions play their part in the finished whisky. \nAcross the evening\, Paddy will guide us through six Clonakilty whiskies\, giving us the story behind the distillery\, its distinctive approach to whisky-making and\, of course\, what to look for in the glass. \nEach whisky will be complemented by a carefully paired tasting board\, chosen to bring out the flavours along the way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDATE: Saturday 21st November   \nTIME: 7pm start \nPRICE: £50pp; tickets sold in pairs. \nINCLUDES: 6 whiskies complemented by a carefully paired tasting board. \nVENUE: The Tasting Room at Shenfield Wine Co. \nCall the store on 01277 204899 to secure your place or enquire about booking by emailing events@shenfieldwine.co.uk.
