Saturday 28th February 2026 marked a truly special milestone for The Tasting Room. Traditionally known for hosting wine and spirit tastings, our space has always been a hub for enthusiasts who appreciate the good things in life. But now, with the addition of a state-of-the-art ventilation and filtration system, The Tasting Room is fully equipped to handle cigar events, too; allowing guests to enjoy cigars while maintaining comfort, excellent air quality and full legal compliance!

A very special launch night…

The launch of The Tasting Room Cigar Series brought together a room full of fantastic guests who share our passion for cigars and carefully selected wines and spirits, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Hosting the evening were cigar legends Jerry Mir and Alfonso Sherzi of Tor Imports, whose expertise and enthusiasm helped make the night unforgettable.

We were also honoured with the presence of the UK’s leading cigar blogger, ‘London Cigar Smoker‘, whose support for the cigar community perfectly reflects what we’ve worked so hard to achieve at The Tasting Room.

The standout cigar of the evening was the Oliva Serie V Melanio Torpedo. Rich and complex, it offered notes of dark coffee, cocoa and toasted almonds, balanced with a smooth spice finish and a long, satisfying draw – it’s definitely a firm favourite among cigar aficionados.

Enjoying cigars in comfort

One of the biggest challenges for any cigar lounge is ensuring guests can fully enjoy fine cigars while maintaining a comfortable environment for everyone. That’s why we’ve invested in a state-of-the-art ventilation and air filtration system, allowing guests to savour the experience without compromising the atmosphere.
This system ensures that cigar smoke is efficiently circulated, filtered and extracted, maintaining fresh air quality throughout the room while still allowing the full flavours and aromas of the cigars to be appreciated. Guests can savour their cigars without concern about lingering smoke or discomfort. It’s an investment that allows The Tasting Room to offer an authentic cigar lounge experience while keeping the environment welcoming for everyone.
 

The beginning of a new era for The Tasting Room

The Tasting Room Cigar Series has been a 2 year project, and it’s incredibly rewarding to finally see it come to life with guests enjoying the cigars exactly as we imagined. Thanks to our new bespoke ventilation system, guests were able to fully appreciate the cigars while preserving the comfortable atmosphere that makes The Tasting Room so special.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and supported us along the way. This launch marks the start of an exciting new chapter – one where our space celebrates not only fine wines and spirits, but also the craftsmanship and pleasure of premium cigars.
