What we`re drinking this week: @pikeswines` Traditionale Riesling.
As things start to feel a bit lighter outside, we naturally find ourselves reaching for fresher, more vibrant whites, and Pike’s Riesling from the Clare Valley, Australia, fits the bill perfectly.
It’s a brilliantly made, consistently reliable Riesling, showing aromas of lime and citrus with a subtle floral note. On the palate, it’s crisp and dry, with a refreshing finish, and you`ll find notes of lime zest, green apple and delicate blossom.
Spot on with grilled fish, prawns, or lighter dishes like asparagus and goat’s cheese, it also pairs really well with fresh, zingy flavours; think Thai salads or Vietnamese herbs.
